GURBANI WORLD PRESENTER

Presenter Help

Simple guidance for setting up a projector or TV, presenting Gurbani and using the main Presenter modes.

01

START HERE

Quick Start

Open Presenter, create a new session, search for Gurbani or open Sundar Gutka, then click the exact Gurbani line you want to show. The display changes only when you choose a line.

1Start PresenterCreate your private Presenter session.
2Load GurbaniSearch, Sundar Gutka, Bookmark or Ang.
3PresentClick the exact Pangti to send it live.
02

PROJECTOR / TV

Connect a display

For the easiest setup on the same computer, open the full display in a second browser window and move it to the projector or TV using HDMI. For another device, use Connect Display and enter the 6-digit code shown by Presenter.

Recommended for reliability

For Gurdwara use, HDMI from the Presenter computer is the simplest and most reliable option. The paired-display option is useful for TVs or devices on the same network.

03

LIVE KIRTAN

Kirtan Mode

Kirtan Mode is designed for manual control because Raagi Sahib may repeat, return to, or skip lines. Scroll anywhere without changing the projector, then click the Pangti currently being sung.

  • Direct line selection for fast live changes.
  • Go to Live button returns the controller to the current live line.
  • Safe Preview can be enabled if the operator wants an extra confirmation step.
04

ROLLING GURBANI

Paath AutoPlay

Paath Mode can show 3 or 4 lines together and roll forward one Pangti at a time. Use the large Slower, Pause and Faster controls to match the reading speed.

Previous PangtiCurrent PangtiNext PangtiUpcoming Pangti

If the reading moves to a different place, click the correct line. AutoPlay can continue from the corrected position.

05

SRI GURU GRANTH SAHIB JI

Akhand Paath & Ang navigation

Use the Ang navigator to open an Ang from Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, then select the exact line being read. Previous Ang and Next Ang make it easy to continue through the Paath without loading an enormous single page.

Why Ang-by-Ang?

It keeps the controller fast and gives the operator a clear place to recover if the Presenter is opened during an ongoing Paath.

06

QUICK ACCESS

Bookmarks

Create as many Bookmarks as you need. Save a complete Shabad or select only the lines you want. Give it a custom title such as Evening Paath, Bhog de Paath or Shabad 1; if the title is left blank, Presenter can use the first selected Gurbani line.

  • Pin frequently used Bookmarks beside Sundar Gutka.
  • Rename, unpin or delete saved Bookmarks.
  • Use a Bookmark as a custom AutoPlay sequence.
07

ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਸਿਮਰਨ

Waheguru Simran

Presenter includes a built-in Waheguru display and does not require a background image upload. The fresh default is Premium Gold + Gold Shine + Slow.

ੴਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂPremium Gold · Gold Shine · Slow

Other animation styles can be selected when a different look is preferred. The effect is intentionally gentle so Gurbani remains clear on a large projector.

08

PWA APP

Install Presenter

Presenter can be installed as a PWA from presenter.gurbaniworld.com. On supported desktop and Android browsers, use Install Presenter App. On iPhone or iPad, use the browser Share menu and choose Add to Home Screen.

  • Desktop: opens in its own app-style window.
  • Android: installs to the home screen like an app.
  • Offline-ready assets improve reliability after the first successful load.

COMMON FIXES

Troubleshooting

The projector does not update

Check that the display is connected to the same Presenter session. If using a paired device, confirm network access. For same-computer use, HDMI is recommended.

The page jumps while I am browsing

Follow Live Line should normally be off when you want to browse ahead. Use the floating Go to Live button when you want to return to the current line.

Presenter looks old after an update

Refresh the page fully once. If it is installed as a PWA, close and reopen the app so the service worker can finish updating cached assets.
